How to use

Key in the plant parameters, the MPC model parameters and the MPC tuning parameters in the respective cells.


The optimization problem is solved by using the solver tool, use it to minimise the objective function in the cell M9. The solver tool will vary the MV moves in the control horizon to minimize the error over the prediction horizon.



In this tool, the Prediction Horizon and control Horizons are fixed (30 secs and 100 secs respectively). Changing the control horizon will require changing the formulae in column V.
